Blake Dewberry

Showco Alumni

Monitors / Touring Audio

Showco Years: 1979–1986

Blake Dewberry joined Showco in 1979 after being hired by BJ Schiller, becoming part of the Showco touring family during one of the company’s most active and influential eras. During his years with Showco, Blake worked in monitors and touring audio, supporting the demanding world of live production and helping carry forward the sound, work ethic, and road-tested standards that defined Showco crews.

Blake was also known by the nickname “Awesome,” though the story behind that one is his to tell. Hopefully he’ll add it to the archive himself through the Add to Story feature.
