1995–2000: SHOWCO’s Final Chapter
The years 1995–2000 mark the final five years of SHOWCO as an independent company, before the sale to Clair Brothers. It was a period of major transition across live production—new tools, new expectations, and bigger touring footprints—yet the SHOWCO reputation for precision and professionalism stayed consistent right to the end.
For me, this era sits at a crossroads: the industry was changing fast, but the SHOWCO standard never did. The same crew-level pride, problem-solving, and quiet excellence that built the legacy was still there—right up to the final chapter.
This page is my place to gather and preserve what we can from those years: the tours, the people, the gear, the paperwork, the backstage photos, and the stories that don’t exist anywhere else. If you were there between 1995 and 2000—or you have anything from that era tucked away in a drawer—I’d love to add it here (with credit, always). You can reach me at indigo@showcoarchives.com.
