Lighting Director • Willie Nelson & Family
Nearly five decades after a Showco assignment unexpectedly put him behind the lighting console for Willie Nelson in 1977, Buddy “Budrock” Prewitt is still part of Willie Nelson & Family.
Known as “The Illuminator,” Budrock’s remarkable road career began with Showco in 1975 and has carried him from David Bowie and other major Showco productions to a lifetime alongside Willie.
Most recently, Budrock joined host John Spong on One by Willie to share stories from the road and reflect on why Willie’s “On the Road Again” tells the story of his own life.
