No Nukes (M.U.S.E.) — 1979
Showco provided sound and lighting for the M.U.S.E. No Nukes concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York, held September 19–23, 1979. Organized in response to the Three Mile Island accident, the five-night benefit brought together artists including Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Carly Simon, Bonnie Raitt, Crosby, Stills & Nash, the Doobie Brothers, and Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The dates and lineup are documented here.
This collection documents the Showco connection through surviving crew swag, itineraries, notes, passes, photographs, and other materials connected to the event. The concerts were later preserved through the No Nukes live album and 1980 film.
