The mid-to-late 1970s found Parliament Funkadelic turning funk into a full-scale live spectacle—deep grooves, expansive stages, and a production built to match the collective’s larger-than-life energy. These years capture the touring culture behind P-Funk’s rise, where the crew work, sound, and logistics were essential to carrying that experience from city to city.
