Thin Lizzy and Showco: The Boys Are Back on the Road
Thin Lizzy’s history with Showco was forged on the road during one of the band’s most celebrated periods. For the 1977 Bad Reputation tour, the Dallas-based company supplied the powerful sound system, monitors, lighting, rigging, and crew needed to carry Thin Lizzy’s unmistakable twin-guitar sound into arenas across America.
Among “the boys from Showco” were Craig Schertz at front of house, M.L. Procise on monitors, Thom Hansen on lighting, Jim Waits handling rigging, and several other Showco crew members who helped bring Thin Lizzy’s electrifying performances to life night after night.
