Chari Short
Chari Short—known to so many as the Queen of SHOWCO—has been one of the steady hands behind the scenes and one of the strongest threads holding the SHOWCO family together. Chari had two runs with SHOWCO (1972–1976 and 1980–1997), first in Accounting and later as Production Secretary, keeping tours, people, and details moving with the kind of organization and care that made everyone’s job easier.
Today, she’s still doing what she’s always done: looking out for the crew. Chari helps keep alumni connected through reunions, shares the hard news when we lose someone, and helps run the private SHOWCO Alumni Facebook page.
