John Marion “JB” Blasutta was a Showco alum and longtime live sound engineer based in Austin, Texas, whose career with Showco and later Clair spanned 1974–2009. Known for his steady hand at FOH and monitors, JB supported an incredible range of artists across decades—including the Beach Boys, Ozzy Osbourne, ZZ Top (’90), Deep Purple, Willie Nelson, Average White Band, Bad Company, Steve Miller Band, Genesis (*…And Then There Were Three*), Alice Cooper, the Osmonds, George Benson, Weather Report, the Bee Gees, Marvin Gaye, the Blues Brothers, Rick James, War, Vince Gill, and more.
