The Beach Boys (1980–1984): Road Work, Harmony, and Summer Every Night

From 1980 to 1984, The Beach Boys were still doing what they’ve always done best—bringing harmony, nostalgia, and a full-room singalong to audiences night after night. Behind that familiar sound was the real work of touring: tight schedules, long drives, and crews making sure the show hit the same mark every time.

This section of the archive collects Showco-related materials connected to The Beach Boys during the early ’80s—tour ephemera, documents, photos, and other surviving pieces as they’re located and digitized.

I’m building this archive by hand and will keep adding items as more materials are identified and preserved.
