The US Festival stands as one of the most ambitious live music events of the early 1980s—massive crowds, diverse lineups, extreme production demands, and long days in the California heat. Across multiple festival weekends and genres, the event brought together major touring acts, emerging artists, and large-scale concert production on a scale few festivals had attempted at the time. Showco provided sound reinforcement for various performers appearing throughout the festival years, helping deliver consistent audio across an environment built for sheer volume and endurance.
