Live Aid (1985): The Day Music Changed the World

On July 13, 1985, Live Aid brought together the biggest names in rock and pop for a historic dual-venue benefit concert—held simultaneously at Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. Showco provided sound and reinforcement for several of the artists, with engineers assigned to various acts across both locations. Behind every performance was a crew working long hours to keep the music rolling and the production running smooth, no matter the stage.

This section of the archive gathers Showco-related materials from Live Aid—photos, passes, documents, and other pieces preserved as they're found and digitized.

I'm building this archive by hand and will keep adding items as more materials are identified and shared.
