Live Aid | July 13, 1985: The Day Music Changed the World

On July 13, 1985, the world watched history unfold.

Live Aid united two continents and nearly two billion viewers for one of the most ambitious concerts ever staged. While the spotlight shined on legendary performers at Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, thousands of production professionals worked behind the scenes to make the impossible happen.

Showco engineers and crew provided sound reinforcement for several artists throughout the day, helping deliver one of the largest live productions in music history.
